EPL: MANCHESTER UNITED'S OPPONENT IS THE FAVORITE TO SIGN CRISTIANO RONALDO FROM AL-NASSR
Newcastle, Manchester United's Premier League foe, has emerged as one of the favourites to recruit forward Cristiano Ronaldo after claims the gal captain is seeking an early exit from Al-Nassr, according to Daily Maily.
Ronaldo's contract with Al-Nassr expires in 2025.
The 38-year-old agreed to quit his former club Manchester United in November and signed a contract with Al-Nassr.
Since joining Al-Nassr, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner has been in good form, scoring 12 goals in the league.
Ronaldo, on the other hand, is rumored to desire to leave the Saudi Arabia club just months after his arrival, with old club Real Madrid offering to provide him a non-playing role as an ambassador.
However, Newcastle, who have almost certainly secured Champions League football for next season, are 6/1 to sign Ronaldo ahead of Real Madrid and Sporting.
