EPL: LAMPARD MISCOUNTS THE NUMBER OF MANAGERS CHELSEA HAS USED
Frank Lampard, the manager of Chelsea, briefly lost track of how many managers the team had employed and fired this year.
With the Blues now occupying the 12th spot in English football's premier division, they have had a challenging season.
The Blues' new owners, led by American entrepreneur Todd Boehly, have only appointed four managers so far this season: Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter (who joined permanently), Bruno Saltor, and now Frank Lampard.
But before correcting himself, the legendary midfielder for Chelsea appeared to forget about one of the coaches.
In advance of the game this weekend, Lampard spoke to the media on Friday.
He said: "We've had three...four managers through the season; that is the reality of the club where we are at."
Since his return to Stamford, Lampard has lost each of the six games he has coached
