EPL: Arteta Discusses Arsenal Winning The Title After Defeating Newcastle

Following a 2-0 victory over Newcastle United on Sunday, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has stated that the Premier League championship is still within their grasp.

First-half goals by Martin Odegaard and Fabian Schar were followed by an own goal by Schar to give the Gunners the victory.

Arsenal now has 81 points after the outcome, one fewer than Manchester City, who still have one match to play.

Arteta responded to the question about the message his team had delivered to their competitors: "That we are there, that we want to keep digging. The prize is there, not too far.

"The only thing we can do is keep (going) and not turn our backs and lose focus on something else. Be determined every single day. Let's keep going and see what happens."
