Declan Rice, a midfielder in the Premier League, is available to be signed by Bayern Munich for their boss Thomas Tuchel.

According to reports, the club has already spoken with Rice's agents in an effort to lure the West Ham United captain to Germany this summer.

The Bundesliga's juggernauts will have to compete with Arsenal, who plan to make a club-record opening offer of £92 million to capture Rice and who now seem to be the front-runners to do so during the forthcoming summer transfer window.

The English international and his closest pal Mason Mount are both targets for Bayern, according to reports in Germany.

Rice is reportedly a major fan of Bayern manager Tuchel, and the club's board views him as "the perfect defensive midfielder" for the Bavarians.
