Buhari Requests N16 Billion From The Senate

The Senate has been urged by President Muhammadu Buhari to approve N16 billion in promissory notes as a reimbursement to the Borno State Government.

Senate President Ahmad Lawan read Buhari's letter of request during plenary.

The return, according to the President, is intended to cover costs associated with Borno Government's initiative to build federal highways.
