Tuesday, Mrs. Juliet Ochai and the infants were visited by Ahmed Ammani, the police commissioner, in the police clinic inside the command center.
In a statement, Public Relations Officer DSP Daniel Ndukwe thanked God for the successful birth and prayed for the safety of the infants and family.
The spokeswoman praised CSP (Dr.) Blessing Isi Ijiomah, the officer in charge of medical, and her staff "for a job well done."
Ndukwe gave them instructions to continue the good work and make sure that both police officers and members of the public receive top-notch medical care.
CP Ammani was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Olasoji Akinbayo for operations and Assistant Commissioner Hope Isiani Okereke for finance and administration.
Public-spirited persons were urged by the Enugu police command to "support the family in the upkeep of the triplet" as much as possible.
