WIKE VS. DINO MELAYE: WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE NEAR FUTURE - ATIKU'S CAMP RESPONDS RIVERS ADMINISTRATION
Atiku Abubakar's presidential campaign for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in 2023 has responded to Governor Nyesom Wike's rant against former Kogi West Senator Dino Melaye.
One of Atiku's presidential campaign spokespersons, Daniel Bwala, accused Wike of naming the wrong gang in the person of Melaye.
Wike had stated that Melaye cannot be governor of Kogi State.
Wike told a press conference in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, that the former lawmaker lacked the ability to run a state.
The governor warned that if Melaye is handed the party's ticket, the PDP will lose Kogi State.
Bwala responded by predicting more pyrotechnics between Wike and Melaye in the coming days.
Bwala wrote on Twitter: "Gov. Wike has been fighting and insulting people and today he called out a wrong crew, Dino.
"Dino just released a trailer to the main movie and tables are shaking already. The coming days would be El- Classicos."
On March 29, Melaye confirmed his interest in the Kogi governorship election, which is set for November 11, 2023.
