WHY I DIDN'T PAY RESPECT TO IFEANYI ON DAVIDO'S 'TIMELESS' ALBUM

David Adeleke, better known as Davido, a popular Nigerian Afrobeats singer, has explained why he did not include a tribute to his late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, in his latest album, "Timeless."

Davido's followers expected the album to be about the singer's late kid. Davido, on the other hand, chose to make the record more entertaining.

During a press conference on Monday before of the upcoming "Timeless" performance on April 23 in Lagos, Davido explained that his intention was to release a classic album with few or no sad songs to prevent his fans from being overwhelmed over the loss of his kid.

He said, "People who have been following songs for years can attest to this. I have always been a happy person, regardless of what I may be going through.

"If sad songs are to come, it will be an entirely different project on its own as I never had plans of combining them."
