UCL: BAYERN MUNICH TO SIGN MAN UNITED TARGET TUCHEL
Victor Osimhen, a target of Manchester United, is allegedly on Thomas Tuchel's summer transfer wish list for the Bundesliga champion Bayern Munich.
This occurs before Tuesday night's opening leg of Bayern Munich's Champions League quarterfinal matchup versus Manchester City.
Robert Lewandowski left Bayern Munich to join Barcelona last summer.
They chose to sign Sadio Mane from Liverpool as a forward instead of a true center-forward this season, relying instead on Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.
Choupo-Moting, 34, has been fantastic this season, but the Cameroonian international cannot be counted on as a long-term solution. Mane, 31, prefers to play as a left-winger.
However, Osimhen, who presently plays for Napoli, has reportedly been identified by Bayern Munich as a target to boost their frontline for the upcoming season, according to El Nacional.
According to reports, the 24-year-transfer old's costs might total about €150 million.
If Bayern Munich pays the demanded amount, it will surpass the €80 million club record they paid Atletico Madrid to get Theo Hernandez in 2019.
Osimhen has been effective thus far this season for Napoli, tallying 21 goals in 23 Serie A contests for the league's top team.
