TEN HAG CONFESSES A GAFFE HE MADE DURING MANCHESTER UNITED'S 2-2 TIE WITH TOTTENHAM
Erik ten Hag, manager of Manchester United, admitted he was "a little bit too late" with his replacements during their 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday night.
"You see Tottenham's comeback coming," Ten Hag said.
United threw up a two-goal lead at halftime to lose to Spurs.
Ten Hag was chastised for his substitutions, which were made after Porro's goal.
Fred came on for Christian Eriksen, as did Anthony Martial and Tyrell Malacia for Sancho and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, with the left-back ultimately responsible for the equalizer.
Ten Hag told BT Sport: "It was the same as before half-time.
"We lost control, we conceded the goal - you could see it coming and I had already prepared the subs, but I was a little bit too late."
