Carlo Ancelotti
Manager of Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti has stated that on Wednesday, his "20 years experience" over his former player Frank Lampard, who is currently Chelsea's interim manager, will mean nothing.
The first leg of the Champions League quarterfinal between the two guys is about to begin.
After taking over for Graham Potter on a temporary basis, Lampard will manage Madrid against Chelsea at the Bernabeu in his second game back.
At his pre-game press conference, Ancelotti stated, "I'm 63 and he's 44, so I have 20 more years of experience than him, but that won't influence what happens in the game."
"I'm 63 and he's 44, so I have 20 more years experience than him, but that won't change what happens in the game," Ancelotti said in his pre-match news conference.
"He knows what can happen in these games and how to prepare a team for these games. Experience doesn't mean much. He knows a lot of the players and he'll do well for sure."
