"HE KNOWS NOTHING" - CHELSEA HAS BEEN WARNED AGAINST EMPLOYING A FIRED MANAGER
Richard Keys, a football analyst, has urged Chelsea against hiring ousted Bayern Munich manager Julian Naglesmann as a permanent replacement for Graham Potter.
The Blues are expected to hire a more capable hand at the end of the season, with the club reportedly searching for a new permanent manager.
Keys feels Frank Lampard should be considered for the post rather than Naglesmann, who he claims knows nothing about the Blues.
Lampard is now serving as an acting manager at Stamford Bridge having being hired earlier this month following Graham Potter's resignation.
The Blues are anticipated to choose a more capable manager at the end of the season, with the club allegedly on the lookout for a new permanent boss.
Lampard, on the other hand, has not started well, losing 1-0 to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League over the weekend and 2-0 to Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.
Despite multiple speculations tying Nagglesman to Chelsea, Key stated on beIN Sport, "I fail to see what Julian Nagelsmann knows that Frank Lampard doesn't.
"If it's a straight choice between the two I'd go with the legend that knows Chelsea inside out - not someone who might have a more impressive power- point display but knows nothing about the club or our league."
