GUNMEN KILL A PASTOR OF THE LIVING FAITH IN KOGI

Jacob Wodi Hulobu, a resident pastor of Living Faith Church, Aloko-Oganenigwu in Kogi State's Dekina LGA, was allegedly slain by the gunmen that stormed the town on Sunday.

When they attacked during the early morning service, it was reported that the pastor managed to flee with a few of his followers to a safer location.

Samuel, one of his followers, claimed that the pastor was shot and killed by the intruders as he returned to the church to assess its condition following the attack.

The pastor, who had earlier written about how he survived the morning attack on Facebook, passed away a few hours later, according to information obtained by City & Crime.

Before the event, Hulobu is alleged to have organized a crusade program called "Let the fire fall: Three nights of Wanders" that was scheduled to take place in the church between April 13 and 15.

He left behind his wife and a young child.
