EPL: POCHETTINO HAS LINED UP ASSISTANT COACHES FOR THE CHELSEA POSITION

If Mauricio Pochettino is appointed as manager at Stamford Bridge, he will be accompanied by four close confidantes.

Pochettino will go to Stamford with his assistant and head of fitness, Jesus Perez, first-team coach Miguel D'Agostino, goalkeeper coach Toni Jimenez, and his son, Sebastiano, a sports scientist, according to The Times.

Perez, D'Agostino, and Jimenez have remained by the Argentine's side for the majority of his management tenure.

They were with him at Southampton and Tottenham before following him to PSG in 2021.

The Argentine has emerged as the frontrunner to become Chelsea's new manager, and he is thought to be in advanced talks with the club's owners.

His contract to succeed Frank Lampard might be signed as soon as this week.

Since being fired by PSG last year, the 51-year-old has been out of work.
