EPL: PAUL SCHOLES COMPLIMENTS BRAZILIAN WINGER

Former Manchester United player Paul Scholes believes Antony will be a key player for the club in the next seasons.

Scholes noted that it has taken the Brazilian time to adjust to life in the Premier League, but that this could be due to the fact that he is from a foreign nation.

Scholes noted that it has taken the Brazilian time to adjust to life in the Premier League, but that this could be due to the fact that he is from a foreign nation.

The Brazilian, who joined the Red Devils from Ajax in a move worth over £82 million last summer, seems to take some time to adjust to his new surroundings.

Many football experts have questioned whether the former Ajax star has a long-term future at the Theatre of Dreams, but Scholes believes the Brazilian has looked like a 'different player' recently.

Antony, who has a lot of expectations on his shoulders, has started to appear like the player we all expected, according to the United legend.

"I think since that Everton game at home on April 8 he (Antony) has become a different player," Scholes said on BT Sport.

He highlighted that the Brazil international was quite predictable and could rarely go past opponents, but that he has begun to add new facets to his game.

"He started to run in behind Ben Godfrey (against Everton), he did it two or three times and was clean through on goal but didn't quite get the goal.

"In the next couple of years, he could be a huge player for this club."
