EPL: JULIAN NAGELSMANN STIPULATES ONE REQUIREMENT FOR BECOMING TOTTENHAM MANAGER

Julian Nagelsmann, the recently ousted Bayern Munich manager, has imposed a condition on Tottenham's management before accepting the position.

German wants a 'decisive voice' in Tottenham's transfer business if he becomes manager, according to The Independent.

Spurs fired interim manager Cristian Stellini on Monday night, following their 6-1 Premier League defeat at the hands of Newcastle United on Sunday.

Ryan Mason has taken over as manager and is responsible for the club till the end of the season.

Nagelsmann has emerged as the favorite to take over at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as the club seeks its third permanent manager in two years.

Club chairman Daniel Levy described Stellini's dismissal as 'devastating' and 'wholly unacceptable' in a statement announcing the decision.

Nagelsmann, 35, has withdrawn from the contest to become Chelsea's permanent manager, with rumours in Germany stating he is now seriously considering taking the Spurs post.

According to the Independent, Levy would want to hire the young German before the season ends, but would prefer to wait until the summer.

According to the article, Nagelsmann is willing to play a big part in the club's transfer operations if he is to join the north London club.
