EPL: ERIK TEN HAG DESIRES THE DEPARTURE OF 13 MAN UNITED PLAYERS FROM OLD TRAFFORD

As part of his ongoing transformation at the Theatre of Dreams, Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag plans to offload up to 13 players from Old Trafford in the summer.

The Carabao Cup was already won by the Dutch manager in his first campaign at the club, and he is still holding out hope that United will this season also add FA Cup and Europa League medals to its collection.

The Red Devils spent £213 million on new players this season, and in order to avoid FIFA punishment, they must now also let certain players leave before making more acquisitions.

According to a recent story from The Mail Online, Ten Hag has approved the sale of up to 13 players in the upcoming months, albeit it is unclear exactly who they are.

Yet, players like Anthony Elanga and Eric Bailly appear destined to leave their current teams in the summer, with the former unable to get enough playing time and drawing a lot of attention from a number of clubs.

Others include Anthony Martial, Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Alex Telles, Donny van de Beek, and Brandon Williams, who haven't played much for the team this year.

David de Gea, Phil Jones, and Tom Heaton all have summer contract expirations, while Facundo Pellistri will leave the team on loan in quest of playing time.
