EFCC ARRESTS 48 SUSPECTED 'YAHOO BOYS' AND TWO OTHERS IN KADUNA

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Kaduna Zonal Command, has detained 48 people accused of fraud.

During a sting operation in Kaduna, the Commission also arrested two ladies, Precious Malachi Zidyep and Tina Patrick Omoyeme, at the Rosalux Blue Hotel in Agua, Kaduna South.

Williams Justice Gankon and AbdulWasiu Yunus were earlier arrested on April 10, 2022, prosecuted, and convicted on August 31, 2022 by Justice Nasiru Umar Sadiq of the Kaduna State High Court.

Mobile phones of various types and laptop computers were recovered from them.

The anti-corruption organization further stated that the suspects will be charged in court after the investigation is completed.
