CEO BLESSING GETS N10 MILLION BAIL

Blessing Okoro

Blessing Okoro, also known as Blessing CEO, a self-described relationship guru, was granted bail by a high court in Lagos State for suspected cyber bullying.

The Nigeria Police Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) detained Blessing CEO on Thursday as a result of her involvement in the cases of deceased Bimbo Ogbonna and Ikechukwu Ogbonna, two well-known auto dealers in Lagos.

She was charged with six counts total, including libel, cyberbullying, and showing uncut movies.

Judge Yelim Bogoro remanded her in the care of the Nigerian Correctional Services, NCOS, at a court session on Friday until a hearing on her bail application on May 30.

She was granted N10 million bail with two sureties in the same amount on Tuesday during the case's hearing in front of Judge Tijjani Ringim of the Federal High Court despite the prosecution's lack of opposition.

Justice Yelim Bogoro ordered her to remain in the care of the Nigerian Correctional Services, NCOS, until the 30th of May while her bail application was heard in court.

The Federal High Court's Judge Tijjani Ringim, however, granted her N10 million bail with two sureties in the same amount after receiving a bail application from her attorney at the case's hearing on Tuesday.
