A FLORIDA KID FOUND IN AN ALLIGATOR'S MOUTH WAS DUMPED INTO A LAKE BY HIS FATHER

Thomas Mosley

According to St. Petersburg police affidavits, the father of the missing Florida infant who was discovered last week in an alligator's throat dumped the youngster in the lake and is also accused of killing the child's mother.

According to the affidavits, Thomas Mosley, 21, is charged with two charges of first-degree murder.

According to one of the affidavits, Mosley allegedly "did throw or place" his 2-year-old son Taylen into a lake, causing "mortal wounds" that led to the child's death.

Taylen was reported missing after his mother, Pashun Jeffery, 20, was discovered dead in her apartment on Thursday with multiple stab wounds, according to authorities.

Jeffery was discovered and had "serious lacerations to both of his hands and arms consistent with injuries caused by sliding during a knife attack" when he went to his mother's house.

According to the complaint, when Jeffery's family visited her on Thursday, they allegedly discovered blood on the pavement outside of her residence. According to an affidavit, they discovered Jeffrey inside de@d with "apparent slashes and stabs in excess of 100 wounds."

Authorities started looking for the 2-year-old after discovering that he was not at the crime site.

Only a few miles from where Jeffery was discovered dead, an alligator was seen the next day in Dell Homes Park with something in its mouth, according to authorities. The lizard dropped the item when an officer fired one bullet at it.

The sheriff's office website states that Mosley was booked into the Pinellas County Prison on Friday. On April 11, a hearing to determine his bond is slated.
