WIKE CHALLENGED ME IN RIVERS, AND I PREVAILED BY MORE THAN 50%

Nyesom Wike

According to Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party, LP, Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State campaigned against him on February 25.

Obi challenged people who asserted that the majority of the Igbo votes he received in Lagos came from them.

The former governor of Anambra State made the declaration on Monday while appearing on the Morning Show program on Arise Television.

He claimed that individuals from various ethnic groups around the nation supported him on election day, February 25.

"Some people said he got votes in Lagos because of Igbos. How many Igbos live in Lagos? I got more votes from indigenous people in Lagos than those you can call visitors. Is it Igbos who voted for me in Nasarawa, Plateau and Abuja? In Rivers where you know that the governor came out against me in everything if the real votes in Rivers were counted, I won more than 50% in the State," Obi said.
