Real Madrid has been endorsed by Jürgen Klopp, the manager of Liverpool, to win the UEFA Champions League title this year.

Real Madrid, according to Klopp, are a very powerful squad and have the expertise to win the Champions League once more.

When Real Madrid eliminated Liverpool from the Champions League on Wednesday night at the Santiago Bernabeu, the German addressed at his post-game press conference.

Real Madrid defeated Liverpool 1-0 in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 match in Spain thanks to a late goal from Karim Benzema.

The La Liga champions won the match 6-2 on the road and went on to advance to the round of eight in the Champions League.

While being intervieweded about whether Real Madrid are the favorites to win the Champions League, Klopp responded as follows: "Yes, based on their experience, but there are very strong teams.

"Whoever wants to win the Champions League will have to beat Madrid and Manchester City."
