SULTAN OF SOKOTO HAS DECLARED THE START OF RAMADAN FASTING

Mohammed Abubakar, Sultan of Sokoto and President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, has declared the start of Ramadan fasting.

According to Abubakar, the crescent for the start of Ramadan fasting has been sighted.

The Sultan said in a broadcast on NTA on Wednesday night that Muslims in the country should begin fasting on Thursday, March 23.
