PETER OBI ACCUSES INEC OF FAILING TO RELEASE ABIA AND ENUGU GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION RESULTS

Peter Obi, the Labor Party's presidential candidate, has requested the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to reveal the governorship results for Abia and Enugu States as soon as possible.

Obi, who stated this in a statement, expressed disappointment with the delay in disclosing the results.

According to reports, INEC suspended the compilation of results in Abia and Enugu states on Monday due to reports from the states requesting reviews.

"The Records of the Elections from Polling Units should not be difficult to calculate if the Electoral Officials are committed to the integrity of the Exercise in line with the stipulated Guidelines."
