FORMER SUPER EAGLES ENYEAMA RECOGNIZED AS THE BEST GOALKEEPER IN AFRICAN HISTORY

Vincent Enyeama

The best ever African goalkeeper, according to the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS), is Vincent Enyeama.

From 1987 until 2022, the goalkeepers were ranked by IFFHS.

All of the continents, including South America, Asia, and Europe, were ranked.

Enyeama received praise for his outstanding performances while he was a member of the Super Eagles.

The shot blocker had a significant impact on Enyimba's CAF Champions League victories in 2003 and 2004 as well.

At three FIFA World Cups—in South Africa in 2010, Korea/Japan in 2002, and Brazil in 2014—Enyeama represented Nigeria.

As the Super Eagles triumphed in the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa, he was also playing goal.
