Nnamani is under fire for comments he made about Peter Obi, who established the Igbo political trajectory 24 years ago

Senator Chimaroke Nnamani has been chastised for claiming that Peter Obi, the Labor Party's presidential contender, defined the Igbo political destiny 24 years ago.

Nnamani claimed in a message on Monday via his Twitter handle that Obi had set the Igbo political direction 24 years ago.

Nnamani, who lost the Enugu East Senate race to the LP's Kelvin Chukwu, accused Obi of encouraging hatred and bile before the elections.

However, numerous Nigerians on Twitter chastised Nnamani for his remarks, while others advised him to take his loss calmly and move on.
