APC VOTING UNIT CHALLENGE IS REVEALED BY SANWO-ASSISTANT OLU'S

Lekan Fatodu, the governor of Lagos State's special assistant for SDGs, has started the APC Polling Unit Challenge to increase party members' turnout for the upcoming March 11, 2023, governorship and state legislature elections.

In a statement on the initiative, Fatodu said that the general public, in particular APC members in Lagos State, should be adequately informed of the priceless benefits of casting a ballot because doing so will enable them to elect the right leaders to office, thereby enhancing sound public policy, advancing development, and improving the quality of life for citizens.

The number of accredited voters at the Presidential election in Lagos, which was less than 25% of the state's registered voters, was also cited as being unworthy of the city's prominent economic, social, and commercial status, which can be improved by civic engagement in elections that usher in competent leaders.

"PUC presents an opportunity for committed members of APC and genuine supporters of the party in Lagos State to show their ability to convince people in their various polling units to come out and vote for Governor Sanwo-Olu and APC candidates for the State Assembly and contribute towards raising citizen participation in the governorship election and state assembly elections in Lagos State", he said.

According to Fatodu, participants will gain access to free and premium training as well as masterclasses on leadership, business, and governance, as well as the chance to suggest a Development Project that is urgently needed in their wards (local communities).
