A RADIO HOST FROM IBADAN PASSES AWAY WHILE WALKING TO WORK

The weekend's death of an Ibadan-based radio host on his way to the station added another layer to the shortage of naira notes that is now badly affecting the majority of Nigerians.

On Saturday, Baba Bintin, a well-known radio host, passed away as he was traveling to Fresh FM.

The late presenter of the magazine show Oyin Ado, who often spoke Ijesha dialect on broadcast until his passing, was one of the speakers.

It was discovered that the presenter was walking to the station since she didn't have enough naira notes to pay for a ride.

On his way to host his radio show that Saturday, he reportedly slumped.

Baba Bintin's passing was announced live on the air on Monday morning by another presenter at the radio station known as Isaac Brown.

He said, "I am finding it very difficult to believe this story that is breaking here."
