ELECTION RESULTS: YOUTHS SWARM THE ICC AND PROTEST THE ELECTION

Several young people have demonstrated against the results as the presidential election results are still being tallied.

In order to voice their discontent with the election results, the demonstrators, who are primarily young people, stormed the national collation center, the International Conference Centre, or ICC, in Abuja.

The youths criticized the way the presidential election was conducted, under the leadership of activist Moses Ogidi-Paul.

The demonstrators held up signs that read: "BeingbackIREV, no IREV no collation," "Nigeria not for sale, we fight for justice," "INEC keep your promises" among others.

No INEC representative appeared in to address the protesting youyhs as of the time of this report.
