TINUBU GIFTS RCCG, MFM LANDS ON THE LAGOS-IBADAN EXPRESSWAY SAYS FFK
The spokesperson for Bola Tinubu's presidential campaign, Femi Fani-Kayode, has once more defended the APC's Muslim-Muslim ticket.
FFK, as he is affectionately known, asserted that Tinubu has no aim of converting Nigeria to Islam because he did not convert his own home and has been friendly and generous to Nigeria's Christian population.
According to Femi Fani-Kayode, a spokesperson for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign committee (PCC), Bola Tinubu, the party's presidential candidate, has consistently shown kindness and generosity toward Christians.
The former minister claimed that Tinubu gave land to The Redeem Christian Church of God (RCCG) and Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministry (MFM) so that they could construct their churches on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway in a Twitter space that Fani-Kayode, also known as FFK, shared on his Twitter page.
According to FFK, Tinubu handed the religious group a piece of the church lands in support of the ruling party's Muslim-Muslim Ticket in the 2023 election.
For running a single religious candidate in the 2023 presidential election, the APC had drawn criticism.
When Kashim Shettima, a fellow Muslim and former governor of Borno state, was named Tinubu's running partner, the criticism erupted.
Since Shettima was announced as Tinubu's running mate, both Bola Tinubu, the APC, and party stakeholders have supported the decision to run a Muslim-Muslim ticket.
With his wife serving as a senior pastor at the RCCG, Tinubu claimed to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) that he had not Islamized his family and that he had no intention of doing the same for Nigeria.
