SENATE PRESIDENT AHMAD LAWAN IS DEFEATED IN THE RACE FOR THE YOBE NORTH APC TICKET

Dr. Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan, the president of the Nigerian Senate, has lost the race for the All Progressives Congress' (APC) Senate ticket in the Yobe North Senatorial District.

On Monday in Abuja, the Court of Appeal delivered the ruling.

Bashir Sheriff was recognized by the Appellate Court as the APC's legitimate candidate for the Yobe North Senatorial District in Yobe State.
