PRESIDENCY: LABOUR PARTY REACTS TO NATIONAL CHAIRMAN'S REPORTED RESIGNATION, DUMPS PETER OBI
The Labour Party, LP, has denied reports that Julius Abure, its national chairman, has resigned.
According to sources, Abure claimed that Peter Obi, the LP's presidential contender, cannot win in 2023.
The party responded by denying the reports and labeling them as untrue.
According to a tweet from LP, Abure has not dumped Obi, and the opposition is to fault for these rumors.
The party tweeted: "Please disregard the news going around that our @NgLabour National Chairman has resigned and dumped @PeterObi.
"It is a lie from the opposition. We are set to take back Nigeria come 2023."
