"Brazil also have a core of players with a lot of quality, especially in the final third where they can beat men, they've good No.9s, Neymar."

Messi added, "We have a good core, too, and players in good form as well."

According to Messi, both France and Brazil have a solid squad of talented players who can compete with Argentina at the World Cup this year.

The 2018 World Cup is scheduled to begin On Sunday, November 20.

Argentina are in Group C at the World Cup alongside Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Poland.
