ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE: BOEHLY CONTACTS AGENT AND AGREES TO SIGN ENGLAND INTERNATIONAL FOR CHELSEA
According to reports, Jude Bellingham of England will soon be a Chelsea player according to co-owner Todd Boehly.
According to Bild, Boehly has been in touch with Bellingham's father and agent to talk about a spectacular transfer to Chelsea, which is vying with Manchester United, Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Liverpool for the player's services.
Chelsea is one of the four "serious" candidates for Bellingham's services, and if it means they can bring the midfielder to Stamford Bridge next summer, they will be willing to match Dortmund's astounding asking price for the player.
Bellingham, a current Borussia Dortmund player, has quickly become one of the continent's top-rated athletes.
Since joining Dortmund in 2020 for £25 million from Birmingham City, he has excelled, making more than 100 appearances for the Bundesliga club.
The 19-year-old has established himself as an important member of manager Gareth Southgate's England team because to his performance in the Bundesliga and Champions League.
The existing Dortmund deal for Bellingham will end in 2025.
