Lampard, the manager of Everton, has identified key areas in which Iwobi must improve

Everton manager Frank Lampard has highlighted the areas where Alex Iwobi needs to improve in order to become a complete player.

The Nigeria international has received a lot of praise for his performances for the Toffees this season.

This season, Lampard has moved Iwobi to central midfield, and the former Arsenal player has rewarded his manager with four assists in eight league appearances.

The 26-year-old has appeared in every one of Everton's eight Premier League games this season, making him a key member of the squad.

Despite Iwobi's outstanding performances, Lampard believes he can improve further.

"Can he add more to his game? Yes. In and around the final third he can do more because his talent says so. 

"In-game he can do more, he can assist more, maybe score himself a bit more, but I'm not complaining there, he's been fantastic for us," Lampard told a press conference.

Iwobi is expected to play when Everton hosts Manchester United on Sunday night at Goodison Park.
