At least six people were shot during a protest in Delta State's Ughelli and Warri areas.

The unfortunate incident occurred on Tuesday, October 4, as hundreds of young people protested alleged brutality by Economic and Financial Crimes Commission operatives (EFCC).

The protest, which took place simultaneously in the states of Ughelli and Warri, is said to have turned violent after security operatives allegedly opened fire on the protesting youths, injuring at least six.
