VEHICLES CARRYING AMMUNITION AND IEDs WERE INTERCEPTED IN IKORODU LAGOS

Two vehicles loaded with ammunition, guns, and IEDs were discovered in a scrapyard on Itamaga-ljede road in Ikorodu.

According to eyewitnesses, the scrapyard within Powerline Unity Estate Poromope, Idiroko is owned by a group of Hausa men who have been operating the yard for some time.

According to reports, the men were loading vehicles with the intention of transporting the items to an unknown location before being apprehended.

The men were turned over to the police.
