MYANMAR EX-LEADER JAILED FOR 5 YEARS - FACES OVER 100 YEARS MORE FOR OTHER CHARGES
Former Myanmar leader Aung San Suu Kyi has been sentenced to half a decade behind bars on corruption charges for apparently accepting gold bars and $600k in bribes.
The 76-gear-old has also been charged with violating election and state secret laws, incitement and more corruption, with total maximum sentences of over 100 years.
