2023 UMAHI DENIES PULLING OUT OF PRESIDENTIAL RACE

Reports that Governor David Umahi quit the 2023 presidential race is false, the Ebonyi State Government has said.

There were claims that Umahi, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), abandoned his presidential ambition to join the race for Ebonyi South Senatorial seat.

But Umahi's government denied the reports.

It is is nothing but empty and vaunting architecture of political charlatans who are intimidated by the tall and admirable hallmarks of leadership excellence recorded by Governor Umahi, information commissioner Uchenna Orji said in a statement.

"Governor Umahi's presidential ambition is unwavering and is alive in the hearts of Nigerians."
