THE STORY OF THIS AFRICAN STAR APPLE

(Udara, Agbalumo) as some persons will call it is a story of Nostalgia.

In Nigeria, it is widely know as Udara/Agbalumo even though it has several other tribal names.

We had this big Umbrella Udala tree in my late grandma's garden growing up. When it was the season, it literally became my lunch.

We anticipated harvest time, while aiming at plucking, we would often trouble our parents to get some if the wait takes too long .

It was fun!

It was entertaining!

It is nostalgic!
