FORMER MINISTER, AISHA ABUBAKAR, LOSES SON IN AUTO CRASH

Aisha Abubakar, former Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment, has lost her first son in ghastly car crash.

Aliyu Abubakar who was in the car with his other three siblings has died while other are currently being hospitalized.

In a statement released on Wednesday by the presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu, lilled, "President Buhari mourns, as ex-minister Aisha loses eldest son," President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed sadness over the incident.

The statement read in part. "The President prayed for quick recovery for two brothers and sister of the deceased, who are currently on admission in hospital following a road accident that claimed the life of the deceased."

"He urged doctors, nurses and other health workers to do their best for other victims of the accident under their care."

"President Buhari also prayed to Allah to repose the soul of the deceased and grant fortitude to the family and the friends of the deceased to bear the loss" He said.
