Palm Tree Climbing

To many locals, it's their source of income and source of survival. They go about cutting fronds and palm fruits.

The fruits are used in processing palm oil we consume today. The women also use the palm fronds for making basket for sale.

On other occasions at night, the men climb the to tap palm wines. Every morning they go to inspect it and collect what the tree has supplied.

The man goes about his business like every other Nigerian citizen. It is his smile in the above picture that caught my attention.
