MAN ARRESTED FOR ALLEGEDLY IMPREGNATING OWN DAUGHTER IN DELTA

A middle-aged man identified as one Akpokpokpo has been arrested by a vigilante group in Amukpe area of Sapele, Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State, for raping his own daughter and getting her pregnant.

The culprit who is also accused to be the father of his daughter's three month old baby was said to have been having carnal knowledge with his teenage daughter, Mercy Akpokpokpo, which resulted into pregnancy.

Mr Akpokpokpo had threatened the victim, saying he would kill her if she ever reveals what had been going on between them. But, the young girl has somehow summoned courage, so she reported her father hideous act to vigilante group in Amukpe on Friday, August 27, 2021.

When being arrested and questioned, the culprit said he indulged in the act under the influence of alcohol. He also admitted to being the father to the toddler.
