THE MURDERER OF SUPER TV CEO HAS BEEN ARRESTED - A 21 YEAR OLD STUDENT OF UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS

The 21-year-old student of the University of Lagos, Chidinma Ojukwu, has been arrested for allegedly killing the CEO, Super TV, Mr. Michael Usifo Ataga, in Lekki a week ago. Who resided at Banana Island had earlier in the week been reported missing by concerned friends and family after all efforts to reach him proved abortive.

"Checks at his Victoria Island office showed he wasn't there either and this put everyone in a panic mode including his wife and children who reside in Abuja."

"Unfortunately, his lifeless body was found in a flat at Lekki phase 1 on June 18, 2021, with multiple stab wounds after several suspicious withdrawals were made from his account." The media said.

The internet was abuzz over controversial death of the CEO of Super TV.

Fresh reports indicated Ataga met his death in hands of a 'killer' mistress in Lagos.

Ataga Usifo, who is married to a manager in NNPC, had met the said mistress about a fortnight ago and they started seeing each other. He had rented an Airbnb in Lekki, where they would meet clandestinely, away from prying eyes and ears of the public.

According to reports, following his disappearance, the police were able to track down the owner of the Airbnb, who received payment from the side chic's bank account into which Ataga had previously made a transfer for the payment to.

After the apartment was broken into, Usifo was found dead with multiple stabs on his neck, chest and thigh. Millions of naria was withdrew from his account before he was murdered.

It's believed that the mistress carried out the murder as security guards at the rentals confirmed that no third party had visited the lovers besides a dispatch rider, who is suspected to have brought the lethal drug to the side piece.

While the owner of the rented apartment where the tragic incident took place was arrested, Lagos State Commissioner of Police Hakeem Odumosu said Ataga's account had been blocked to prevent further withdrawals from it by those taking advantage of his untimely death to deplete the account.

Speaking on the incident, Lagos Police Commissioner also told newsmen that efforts were on to arrest the fleeing suspect (a female), adding that the victim and the suspect had been lodging in the apartment.

Speaking with journalists today, Chidnma Ojukwu, a 300-level student of Mass Communication UNILAG, said she had been in a romantic relationship with Ataga for about four months before the ugly incident.

Ojukwu said she and Ataga were "having fun" when an argument broke out and she stabbed him twice.

She said, "We were in the lodge smoking. He was trying to make advances on me. I was tired and he became violent on it. I let him have his way. Towards afternoon, he ordered roofies. We took it together and ate food. He became high. I was still not happy with the first one (sex) that we had, so, I was staying on my own, smoking and drinking. He, too, was on his own.

"He later became violent trying to get to me and I was resisting and defending myself. At some point, he hit my head on the wall and I also retaliated.

"At some point, he was chasing me around the kitchen cabinet. I took a knife and stabbed his neck. I approached the door and he followed me. I stabbed him twice on the neck side. I threw the knife to the bed and he was going for it but I also went for it. He dragged the knife with me and it broke and he fell on the floor."

The undergraduate also disclosed that after stabbing the late CEO, she withdrew N380,000 from his account using his ATM card. While the owner of the rented apartment where the incident took place was apprehended.

Fact of the case according to Odumosa while addressing newsmen:

A case of murder was transferred from Maroko Division of the Command to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti Yaba, for discreet investigation.

The fact of the case is that, on 15/06/21 at about 1700hrs, one Chidimma Adaora Ojukwu, a 300 level, undergraduate of the University of Lagos, conspired with others, now at large, and allegedly murdered one Michael Usifo Ataga, m, 50, by stabbing him severally with a sharp object at a Short Service Apartment, situated at No 19, Adewale Oshin Street, Lekki, phase 1, Lagos.

The prime suspect, Chidinma, who had earlier booked for the apartment on 13/6/21 secretly, left the apartment after the deed had been done on 15/6/21 at about 17.30hrs.

The suspect was tracked and arrested in her resident at No. 57, Akinwunmi Street, Alagomeji, Yaba-Lagos. During search, the prime suspect and Mass Communication Student of the University of Lagos, was caught with a blood-soaked cloth, ostensibly worn on the day of the incident.

The suspect confessed to have stabbed the deceased with a kitchen knife after a struggle. She further confessed to have taken the knife away while leaving the scene and disposed same in a dust bin at her residence.

It has also been revealed that the suspect equally stole the deceased iPhone.

Investigation is ongoing to arrest other accomplices. However, the Case will be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded."

P.S; I got numb to all these men and women with their dumb choices, instead of growing up, fixing their wives/husbands/marriages, or divorcing/breaking up amicably, they rather resort to cheating - ruining their marriages, embarrassing, disregarding the marriage vows and sometimes infecting the wo/man with disease they never bargained for. No matter what you did for such people, it will never be enough for them, they always want to be selfish. If s/he has a side chick/guy, s/he doesn't have respect for you, that other person, or himself. Wo/men deserve better, kick him/her to the curb. Remember its not you, its that person's choice.

The quest for living large, the stupid and selfish quest for temporary enjoyment by the said man, the greediness and immoral act of this young lady, all led to this right here. She is likely to be jailed/killed for murder. A supposed good life wasted and jeopardized for nothing. A father died because of his stupid acts, a bright future may just have been aborted.
