The Danish pair and Dele-Bashiru sink Juve as Lazio's stunning start rolls on
Gennaro Gattuso became the first Lazio boss to win six of his opening seven Serie A games (D1), as goals from Danish duo Oliver Provstgaard and Gustav Isaksen helped the soaring Biancocelesti see off Juventus 3-0.
Juve boss Luciano Spalletti watched on from the stands while serving a one-match touchline ban after his red card against Cagliari last Sunday, with assistant Marco Domenichini taking charge on the touchline instead.
That absence seemed to impact the hosts, who struggled to match Lazio's intensity at times, although in-form striker Randal Kolo Muani did have the ball in the net on 24 minutes, only for his volley to be ruled out for offside.
Both Kolo Muani and Isaksen had scored in their respective sides' last league fixtures, and it was the latter who carved out Lazio's first real chance, floating a header just wide on the half-hour mark.
The visitors' pressure finally told eight minutes before half-time. Mattia Zaccagni whipped in a teasing delivery and Oliver Provstgaard rose to head home his first Lazio goal from close range.
Tavares came close to doubling Lazio's advantage six minutes later, his strike from the edge of the area taking a deflection off Gleison Bremer before clipping the top of the crossbar.
That shutout meant Lazio maintained their impressive first-half record, staying as one of only two Serie A teams heading into this round yet to concede before half-time.
Juventus had shown little going forward in the first half, with Nick Woltemade introduced for Kerim Alajbegovic at the break to add some spark.
But the German forward spurned a decent opening 10 minutes after the restart, firing wide, and Juve were punished midway through the second half when Isaksen cut inside and bent a fine finish into the net his second goal at the Allianz Stadium in successive seasons.
Kolo Muani headed a chance over the top, but it was Lazio who had the final say as substitute Fisayo Dele-Bashiru broke clear to fire low past Guglielmo Vicario for his first goal of the season.

The win stretches Lazio's unbeaten start and sends them back up to second, level on points with leaders Inter Milan. As well as being a personal milestone for Gattuso, it's the first time the Biancocelesti have won six of their opening seven league games including four straight wins on the road.

Lazio's first league victory at Juventus since 2017 also extends the Bianconeri's poor run to just one win in five (D2, L2) and ends their unbeaten home record, leaving Spalletti's side sitting eighth.
