PSL Play-Offs Set: City and Milford to Fight for Top Flight Place

Cape Town City and Milford FC have secured their spots in the Premier Soccer League promotion play-offs. Both teams now have a chance to earn promotion to the Betway Premiership next season.
Cape Town City beat Leicesterford City 4-2 at Dobsonville Stadium in a match that featured four penalties, two for each side. Milford FC drew 0-0 away at Hungry Lions in Upington.
Cape Town City ended the season in second place, behind Kruger United who secured automatic promotion. Milford FC finished third.
Both teams will now face the club that finishes 15th in the Betway Premiership for a spot in the top flight next season. The play-off matches are scheduled between May 26 and June 13.
Cape Town City will be aiming to bounce back to the top flight immediately, while Milford are chasing a first-ever promotion to the Premiership.
The play-offs begin with Cape Town City hosting Milford FC. City will then travel to face the 15th-placed Betway Premiership side on May 30.
The play-off schedule will end with Milford FC facing the team that finishes second last in the Betway Premiership.
Cape Town City and Milford have met twice this season. Milford won 1-0 at home, while the game in Cape Town finished 2-2.
Baroka FC and Black Leopards were confirmed as relegated before Sunday’s final round of matches.
