With Marseille losing 4 of their last 6 games, Aubameyang’s curfew breach has cost him a place in the squad for the Le Havre match...

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been left out of Marseille’s squad after an incident where he allegedly sprayed a staff member with a fire extinguisher.

The ex-Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund forward has netted nine times in Ligue 1 this season. He’s featured in nearly every league game for Marseille in 2025/26, with 29 appearances and 1,957 minutes played.

Despite his contributions this season, the Gabon striker won’t make the trip to face Le Havre after the Daily Mail reported that his conduct crossed the line.

According to the report, Aubameyang organized an impromptu party with 10 other players on their fourth night at La Commanderie, the club’s training base.

The incident followed a sharp dip in Marseille’s form, with four losses in their last six games putting their Champions League qualification hopes in jeopardy.

As the mood lifted, Aubameyang sprayed Bob Tahri, the staff member tasked with enforcing curfew, with a fire extinguisher, L'Equipe reported.

Multiple internal sources said the scene felt like a “summer camp,” with several staff members left stunned by the players’ behavior.

Aubameyang has apologized to Tahri and to the club’s leadership, but will still miss the next match due to the incident.
