Puerto Rico's Nolan Arenado got the scoring started with a single that brought home a run, making it 1-0. Canada fought back, and their efforts paid off with a 3-2 win, keeping their World Baseball Classic hopes alive.




Canada's offense was efficient, and they made the most of their chances. Owen Caissie got things started with a double, and Abraham Toro brought him home with an RBI single, making it 3-1 Canada in the top of the fourth.


Puerto Rico's hopes were dashed in the bottom of the third, going 1-2-3 without scoring. That left Canada's 3-1 lead intact, and they held on for the 3-2 win.
