Bayern Munich's Alphonso Davies suffered a muscle injury, specifically a torn muscle fibre in his right hamstring, during Saturday's 3-2 win over Eintracht Frankfurt. He was replaced by Hiroki Ito in the 50th minute after collapsing and requiring medical treatment. Davies had recently returned to action after a long-term knee injury.
Manager Vincent Kompany expressed hope Davies would return within two to four weeks, saying “It doesn't look so bad” and “My gut feeling is that it won't take that long.”
“Alphonso Davies suffered a torn muscle fibre in his right hamstring in the 3-2 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt. This was confirmed by ... FC Bayern’s medical unit,” the side said in a statement.

Kompany remains optimistic about Davies' return, hoping he'll be back within two to four weeks, though the exact timeline is still unclear.

“I don't know if it will be two or four weeks,” he told reporters. “My gut feeling is that it won't take that long.”

Bayern Munich, currently topping the Bundesliga table with 60 points from 23 games, will take on second-placed Borussia Dortmund next Saturday at Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund.
