PSG bounced back to the top of Ligue 1 with a comfortable 3-0 win over Le Havre at the Parc des Princes. The result extends their unbeaten run to eight games, with five wins and three draws, and puts the pressure back on their title rivals.
Luis Enrique's side had been under scrutiny before the international break, with some questioning their status as champions-elect. But they looked like the part against Le Havre, dominating the game and cruising to victory.
The hosts were made to work hard for their goal, with Lucas Chevalier pulling off a great save to keep Simon Ebonog quiet. But PSG finally broke the deadlock just before the half-hour mark, thanks to Lee Kang-In's clever finish from Nuno Mendes' cross.
Lee Kang-In's left-footed shot was a beauty, squirming past Mory Diaw at the near post. The goal gave PSG the boost they needed, and they looked more confident going into the break.
PSG's dominance wasn't immediately reflected on the scoreboard, and they were made to wait for their next chance. Ibrahim Mbaye had a glaring opportunity to double their lead, but his effort sailed over the bar. Le Havre, meanwhile, had a sniff of a comeback.
Le Havre could have gone into halftime on a high, with Ayumu Seko's long-range effort narrowly missing the target. The visitors were getting into the game, and their pressure was starting to tell - Lucas Chevalier had to make another crucial save to keep Yassine Kechta quiet.
PSG spilled a chance to double their lead after the break, with Senny Mayulu's left-footed shot flying wide. The game opened up after that, with Le Havre pushing for an equalizer and PSG's defense forced to work hard to keep them at bay.

Le Havre's threat was real, with Lucas Chevalier called into action again to save Yanis Zouaoui's free-kick. The scoreline was still precariously poised, and it seemed like anything could happen.
PSG found the goal they were searching for, and it gave them some much-needed breathing space. Joao Neves scored the goal, firing a loose ball in off the post after a scramble in the box. The goal was a result of some slick attacking play, with Warren Zaire-Emery's through ball setting it up.
The goal looked like the turning point, and PSG's momentum shifted in their favor. They were now in control, and Le Havre's chances of a comeback were starting to fade.
Le Havre refused to give up, and they had a great chance to get back into the game when Issa Soumare's shot hit the post. But PSG finally put the game to bed with a third goal, courtesy of Bradley Barcola's fine finish.
The goal was the result of some excellent teamwork, with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia's pass setting up the scoring chance. PSG's win re-establishes their two-point lead at the top of the table, while Le Havre's four-match unbeaten run comes to an end.
